New Logo!

Congratulations to Sarah Opie who has designed our new logo for Hundreds and Thousands! We have had some fantastic entries, click here and here to see them all. Thankyou to the fabulous peeple who entered our little comp. We decided that Sarah's logo was simple, pretty, and just what we were looking for. We are so excited to be sharing it with you ONLY DAYS before the next copy of Hundreds and Thousands becomes available! Sarah will be receiving a free copy of each mag we make this year, and a very cute party pack put together by Big Girls Sweet. (We have another one that we are planning to give away later in the year too!)

Next Issue off to the Printers!!

Hi lovelies!!

Just a quick post to let you know that the next issue of "Hundreds and Thousands" mag will be heading off to the printers next week. We are very excited to share our next installment of handmade goodness with you all.

Our next issue will be called "Issue One". That's weird, why would you call your second issue Issue One?

you ask...Well,  we always saw the Starter Issue as a bit of a stand alone experiment, but now that we know it actually works, we are happy to put a number on it! We are now confident that there will be an Issue One, an Issue Two...and more!!

Thanks to some very wonderful sponsors (who we will tell you all about very soon) we have raised enough funds to add some extra pages and articles to the next issue....

...it features our favourite recipes, thrifty makes, a very cool Nana, some sweet music, gardening tips,

some great people doing great things, a trip around a neighbourhood and more!

Magazines will still cost $7 (plus postage and handling) 

Our Starter Issue TOTALLY SOLD OUT and it's thanks to you, our readers and supporters. To those who purchased a copy, thankyou! To those who not only purchased a copy, but then shared with friends, blogged and Instagrammed about it...thankyou, thankyou, thankyou! You have spread the word and turned this into something that neither of us ever imagined.

So stay tuned, because Issue One is on its way shortly!!

CAN YOU HELP!!?

A very happy New year to all our wonderful readers!!

It's exciting times at Hundreds and Thousands HQ. We have very nearly SOLD OUT of our Starter Issue, and are currently putting together our very pretty next issue. We have some wonderful contributors once again, and we can't wait to send our new baby out into the world.

The response to our little handmade zine has been overwhelming. We have been posting them off all over the world!! It's amazing to know that people are enjoying our mag in the UK, France, Norway, US, Canada, Africa...and many towns big and small in Australia too!

The response has been so wonderful, in fact, that we hope to make this next issue slightly BIGGER AND BETTER!! With a few articles we would like to add, we need to fund some additional pages, and that's where YOU might be able to help....

In order to fund these extra pages, we are looking for 6 sponsors for our next Issue. If you have a small handmade business of any shape or form that you would like to advertise in our magazine, please let us know. Perhaps you have an Etsy Shop, Market, album, website, shop, café, gallery, a new song, blog or book you would like to share with our world?

We will not be making any money from these ads, they will literally fund the expansion of this little zine. To place an ad in our next issue will cost $15 (Australian Dollars.) You would need to send us a Jpeg of  a design you would like included, and this will take up a 6th of one page. But we can chat via email of course. Overseas sponsors are welcome.

AMAZING PRIZE!!

As you may know, we are hosting a competition to find a "Hundreds and Thousands" logo. We have already had some fab entries, which you can see in some of the posts below. We have heard from many of you that would you like to contribute an idea but haven't actually done so, so here is a friendly reminder that entries close December 31st. If you have been thinking about it, consider this don't forget to get on it!!
