Hundreds and Thousands ISSUE 6, Diary and update!!

Hey there!

It's been a long time since we have updated our blog...and a lot has happened in our little world!

Firstly, one half of the team, Taz, gave birth to a beautiful little girl in August. She is a lovely little thing and we are completely smitten!

Secondly, we have released Issue 6....another pretty zine handmade made by us! Full of recipes, craft ideas, interviews with wonderful artists and possibly our favourite "Who's your Nana?" article we have ever had!!!! Get your hands on one today by heading to our online store.

Thirdly, the other half of the team, Mezz, is making a Christmas Album! Complete with individually handmade CD covers (using the fabric tape project from Hundreds and Thousands Mag Issue 2!) These will be available to order soon!

Issue 4 "A Handmade Christmas" OUT NOW!!!!

Exciting news!

Our super special Christmas Issue is now available for you to order! 

Filled with festive crafts, recipes, music, stories and more, Issue 4 is titled "a handmade magazine, celebrating a handmade Christmas".... because we believe that Christmas shouldn't be about consumerism, but instead it can be celebrated beautifully and simply when we make it about handmade, simple traditions and thinking about others. 

We have made this Issue with the hope that it will encourage us all to rethink how we celebrate Christmas. We have had some fabulous contributions from crafters, musicians, and writers near and far who celebrate Christmas in their own unique way. We have kept many of our regular features, while making a few changes to suit our Christmas theme.

Christmas Koala Plushii Pattern Sheet

Hundreds and Thousands Magazine First Birthday!!

We celebrated the mag's FIRST BIRTHDAY last Saturday with a Picnic Party in our hometown of Melbourne, Australia. As is to be expected in Melbourne, the weather was cold, windy, wet....and occasionally sunny, but we had a lovely gathering regardless! It was wonderful to thank our friends, family, contributors and supporters....and to meet a few for the first time!! We are already dreaming of our 2nd birthday party...so stay tuned!!

Thankyou so much to everybody who has bought, shared, loved and contributed to this little magazine. As we have always said, we jumped in head first with not a lot of experience or even much of a clue about why we were doing this and how....but we knew we wanted to make a little handmade zine that we would love, and you have no idea how much joy it has given us this past year to see so many other people love it too! "Hundreds and Thousands" is what it is because of the wonderful community that has grown around it! So, thankyou, thankyou! To all of our interstate and overseas supporters who couldn't make it to the picnic...we missed you and we are grateful for all that you have done!
